Lubbock City Tour
The Lubbock Convention and Visitors Bureau, www.visitlubbock.org, has partnered with NSO to offer an hour and a half long driving tour of the city and its many attractions. The tour is free of charge and they will be providing all participants with city maps and tour routes. Participants will not be able to get off of the motor coach and stay at one particular location that is visited.
The tour is to include:
- West Texas Walk of Fame
- American Wind Power Center
- Buddy Holly Center
- Local Shopping Centers
- South Plains Mall
- Texas Tech University Museum
- National Ranching Heritage Center
- Texas Tech University International Cultural Center
- and much more!
To save your seat please choose a time when registering for NSO. City tours will be offered at 1:30 and 3:30 each Day 1 of the Freshmen NSO sessions. If you have already registered, log back in with your eRaider and password to reserve your seat(s). Tours will be offered during the following sessions:
- June 8-10
- June 11-13
- June 15-17
- June 18-20
- June 22-24
- July 16-18
- July 20-22
- July 23-25
- July 27-29
Due to the shorter schedule during the one and two day sessions, tours will not be offered. The Lubbock Convention and Visitors Bureau along with the Chamber of Commerce will be available to answer any questions during their 30-minute information sessions that will be held during any three or two day session.
